Ulgan Konukoglu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School was opened for education in the academic year of 1998-1999 with the ministerial consent dated 15.10.1998 and numbered 35833.
Following the closure of Yunus Emre High School, which previously operated in the building of Yunus Emre Primary School temporarily, equipment of the students were transferred to the newly constructed school building, and the school was put into service as Ulgan Konukoglu High School. The school, which was constructed as part of the collaboration established between the state and citizen in our Sahinbey district, was named after Ulgan Konukoglu, the wife of Abdulkadir Konukoglu, the chairman of the board of directors, in accordance with the protocol signed with Sanko Holding. The school, which continued education as a Trade Vocational High School for a period, was later converted into a Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
